Our Story

A new spin starts with an idea.

Father-and-son founders Gary and Tony Ceccolini created Voda in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to give musicians another way to express themselves.

The idea behind the design.

Rota brings a rotating grip to the trumpet. The housing and strap attach around the valve casing; the grip is the point you hold as the trumpet turns.

A grip built around rotation

The Rota places its rotation point away from the trumpet’s center of gravity. Its rotating grip is the heart of the spinning movement you see in our demonstrations.

The three-valve shell and strap secure the Rota around the valve casing. The included mouthpiece and white third-valve slide retainers complete the setup.

The mouthpiece retainer helps keep the mouthpiece in place. The white third-valve slide retainer helps keep the slide in place during movement.
